Nexus Electronics Limited is an engineering and design consultancy based in Cambridge, England. With our extensive experience of board-level, chip-level and software design, we can manage a project from initial specification through to manufacture.
We have undertaken ASIC developments for a range of customers including ARM and Psion, and have also designed many FPGAs, both for volume manufacture and for prototyping ASICs prior to fabrication.
In addition to chip level design, our skills include complete product development - recent examples are set-top boxes, media servers and industrial controllers.
Many of our projects involve software device driver and operating system development, in which we have considerable expertise - including the development of our own operating system for embedded systems, Conix.
Our project management expertise enables us to work closely with customers to specify and cost devices and products prior to development. Using our close ties with equipment manufacturers and industrial designers we can offer a complete product development service if required.
